Early in life, Lenora’s financial acumen was evident. As a teenager, she helped with the bookkeeping for her parents’ restaurant in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In college, she studied accounting and received her bachelor’s degree in 1981 from California State University. In 1998, she completed a master’s in business administration from Emory University and earned her CPA certification.

Prior to starting her own practice, Lenora spent 27 years in service-related industries, manufacturing and distribution. She particularly enjoyed the complexity of manufacturing and distribution accounting. Lenora applies these keen problem solving skills to all of her service areas – personal financials and tax prep, budgets and planning, compliance and consulting, small business tax and accounting, manufacturing and distribution.

In her business philosophy, Lenora takes a holistic and personal approach. Because money affects all areas of life, she has a passion for helping clients create and maintain financial control. In addition to the annual tax appointment, all clients receive a complimentary financial consultation during the year. Additionally, Lenora presents “Let’s Talk Money” seminars that teach practical ways to improve communication on this touchy subject. Her principles involve self-talk, listening skills and partner communication.

Lenora’s interests include adopting Greyhound retired racers, bicycling and quilting. In her community, she serves as an elder in the Presbyterian Church and a member of the Decatur Business Association.
